glitter-graphics.com
Saint Mary, Mother of Jesus, Mother of all people
Everyone can say to Her My Holy Mother.

Saint Mary is the subject of much veneration. Especially May is devoted to Her. In May the Litany of Loreto (in Latin: Litaniae lauretanae) is recited in every church where worshippers are gathered and in a group setting. The litany contains many of the titles used formally and informally for the Virgin Mary.

Litany of Loreto
V. Lord, have mercy.
R. Christ have mercy.
V. Lord have mercy.
Christ hear us.
R. Christ graciously hear us.
God the Father of heaven, have mercy on us.
God the Son, Redeemer of the world, have mercy on us.
God the Holy Spirit, have mercy on us.
Holy Trinity, one God, have mercy on us.
Holy Mary, pray for us.
Holy Mother of God, pray for us.
Holy Virgin of Virgins, [etc.]
Mother of Christ,
Mother of divine grace,
Mother most pure,
Mother most chaste,
Mother inviolate,
Mother undefiled,
Mother most amiable,
Mother most admirable,
Mother of good Counsel,
Mother of our Creator,
Mother of our Savior ...

The Mother of God

Children like singing songs for their mothers and about their mothers. Adults and children like singing songs for Saint Mary the Mother of God and all people as well.

Bogurodzica (The Mother of God) is the oldest Polish religious hymn. Composed in the 10th-13th century.

Old Polish
Bogurodzica, dziewica, Bogiem sławiena Maryja,
Twego syna, Gospodzina, matko zwolena Maryja,
Zyszczy nam, spuści nam.
Kyrieleison.

Twego dziela krzciciela, Bożyce,
Usłysz głosy, napełń myśli człowiecze.
Słysz modlitwę, jąż nosimy,
A dać raczy, jegoż prosimy,
A na świecie zbożny pobyt,
Po żywocie rajski przebyt.
Kyrieleison.

English version:
Mother of God, Virgin, by God glorified Mary,
From your son, our Lord, chosen mother, Mary!
Win over for us, send to us.
Kyrie Eleison.

Son of God, for the sake of your Baptist,
Hear our voices, fulfill man's intentions.
Hearken to the prayer that we offer,
And deign to give us what we ask for:
On earth, a pious sojourn,
After life, heavenly residence.
Kyrie Eleison.

Latin version
Deigenitrix illibata, Dei dicata Maria,
Apud tuum filium es electa, Maria,
Lucreris, veniam et miserere.

Tui Domini Baptisam pareens Dei,
Audi vota, reple vota mentes hominum,
Audi vota, reple vota mentes hominum,
Refunde, redde hoc, quod quesumus:
Da in hoc esse celi esse.
Domine, miserere.

Consurge nos propter Deum
Hac sede homo faustulus,
Dum perduxit populum,
Abduxit baratro sinum.
